This January’s Dharmayatra takes us to the northern cities of Ahichatra, Kampila, Agra, Shouryapuri, Gwalior, Sonagiri and Orchha where we will be visiting Jin Kalyanak Tirths with Param Pujya Bhaishree.
Dates and Travel info
START: 1st Jan 2020
Train: Sayla or Mumbai to New Delhi via Rajdhani Express. (3 tier AC) (Sayla group will take coach to Baroda and join the train from there.)
Flight: Those wishing to fly need to book their own tickets and are required to reach New Delhi Railway Station by 9am on 2nd Jan 2020.
END: 9th January 2019
Train: Rajdhani Express return to Mumbai or Ahmedabad from Jhansi Railway Station. (3 Tier AC)
1st Jan: Start from Sayla or Mumbai for New Delhi via Rajdhani express. Departs Mumbai Central at 5pm, Borivali at 5:30pm. Sayla group travels by bus to Baroda and joins same train at 9:30pm. Dinner on the train.
2nd Jan: Breakfast on the train. Reach New Delhi (08:30am) and proceed for Ahichatra Tirth 6 hrs (lunch en route). Visit Digamber Jain temples, aarti and Devvandan at shwetamber deraser and overnight stay at Ahichatra.
3rd Jan: 108 Parshvanath Bhagwan Punjan in Ahichatra. Proceed for Kampilaji (3 hrs)(Vimalnath Bhagwan’s 4 Kalyanak) where we have lunch, do darshan and chaityavandan. Then proceed to Agra (3 hrs). Overnight in Agra.
4th Jan: Visit Taj Mahal in the morning. After lunch proceed for visit to Dayal Bagh in Agra - the headquaters of the Dayalbagh sect of Radhasaoumi faith, with stunning architecture. Evening visit to Shitalnath Bhagwan Jain deraser. Overnight stay at Agra.
5th Jan: After breakfast proceed for Shouryapuri (Neminath Bhagwan’s janma kalyanak) where we do darshan and seva puja at the tirth. Following lunch we proceed to Gwalior (3 hrs). Overnight stay at Gwalior.
6th Jan: Visit to fantastic Jain Golden Temple, Kachh Mandir. After lunch we visit Gwalior palace, Trishalamata Jain digambar temple, Gopachal Parvat, Gurudwara and Shiv Mandir. Int he evening we watch the light and sound show at the palace. Overnight stay at Gwalior.
7th Jan: After breakfast proceed to Sonagiri (Shri Chandraprabhu swami samavosharan) and other 70 temples on the hill (Doli’s are available). Travel to Jhansi and visit local Jain temples. Overnight stay at Jhansi. (3 hrs.)
8th Jan: Proceed to Thubonji (3 hrs), Chinderiji (1 hr), Serunji (1 hr), Lalitpur (1.5 hrs), Pavaji Jain Tirth and then back to Jhansi for overnight stay.
9th Jan: After breakfast visit Karguvaji Jain Tirth (30mins), Jhansi fort and Jhansi museum. Proceed to Orchha (Ram Rajaji temple). Return to Orchha for dinner and then catch the Rajdhani exp (9:45pm) from Jhansi Railway Station - return to Mumbai or Ahmedabad.

50% refund if cancellation before 31st Oct 2019 (in INR Indian Rs.)
After 1st November no refunds will be made on cancellation. The amount will be used for good causes during the Dharmayatra.

Food and Travel
Train travel will be in 3 Tier AC cabins.
Land travel will be in 5 seater Innova cars.
Food will be Jain Vegetarian. Mineral drinking water provided.
Vegan food will be available with prior registration.
Please let us know if you have any allergies. Unfortunately it will be difficult for us to cater for specific diets. Please contact the organisers if you have further questions.
Please note that in some places we will be skipping lunch and so everyone is advised to carry some snacks.
