Mahapujan of Shrimad Rajchandra's poetry

14th November 2016

On this landmark day we celebrate the birthday of Param Krupaludev Shrimad Rajchandra on Kartik Purnima. Today starts a 1 year celebration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Shrimadji. To start this year a Shobha Yatra of an idol of Param Krupaludev was undertaken around Raj Saubhag Ashram followed by a Mahapujanof the beautiful poetry that Shrimad wrote.

Param Krupaludev has been one of the greatest spiritual poets of modern times. Atmasiddhi, Apurva Avasar, Mool Marg, Yam Niyam, and many such poems effortlessly flowed from His divine consciousness. Our lives have been blessed to be able to sing and immerse in their serenity.

Shrimad has weaved the entire Moksh Marg, the Path of Liberation, into his poems. The combination of deep knowledge and contemplation along with poetic veneration in Bhakti allows one to immerse in Shrimad's inner world. He pours himself out, and through this outpouring is a opportunity for us to be drenched in his insight, devotion and surrender to Truth. His entire being comes to light, dancing in every word.

What was unique in this pujan, was that Param Pujya Bhaishree gave a short insight into each poem. Referencing Param Pujya Bapuji or Krupaludev's own words he would expand on the poems key messages. Giving some history and context to each poem brought them alive. Br. Vikrambhai would then deliver a soulful rendition of a few verses transporting us to feet of Krupaludev as our heads bowed in awe.
